K. Maley Design

California native Kathleen Maley studied metalsmithing at San Diego State University, and has been making and exhibiting her work since 1997. Her jewelry is found in galleries across the country, and is featured in several juried publications. Working now in her Mission District studio, Kathleen creates jewelry that fuses the dramatic palette of pressed glass with the luster of precious metal.

"In my work I use traditional metalsmithing techniques to create an effect that is very contemporary. I continually explore how jewelry forms relate to the body, and challenge myself to make jewelry that will engage the wearer."
