Laura Parker

Parker, a San Francisco based artist whose work focuses on agriculture and the environment. As an interdisciplinary artist her work includes drawing, painting, artists books and installation.

Parker's work has been exhibited nationally and internationally, including the Copia Center for Food Wine & the Arts; Triton Museum of Art; Sonoma County Museum; Falkirk Cultural Center; the San Francisco Public Library's Jewett Gallery; Rautenstrauch-Joest Museum, Cologne, Germany; MR Gallerie and the Chateau de Nieuil, France. Next year her work will be at the Campbelltown Art Center just outside of Sydney Australia. She has been the recipient of grants from the California Council of the Humanities and Veritable Vegetable's Artist for Agriculture Grant. Parker's work is featured in volume 16, no. 3 of Places magazine a University of California publication of architecture the environment & the arts.
