Peter Sorensen

I am a self-taught artist who has devoted the last three years to developing and exploring technique and craft. Most often I work in series of oil paintings on wood or digital photo transfers with raw pigment on paper. In these series I experiment with the repletion of organic and iconic imagery. I have been heavily influenced by the Asian cultures I've experienced here in San Francisco and on my travels in Thailand and Cambodia. It is my goal to create art that is engaging and thought-provoking.
