RedStart

RedStart was founded by three women in San Francisco, California: Amanda Knox, Sara Shaughnessy and Kim Hoffmann. The idea of RedStart was imagined while we were graduate students in Design and Mechanical Engineering at Stanford University. Together we use our skills in problem solving and design and pour them into jewelry-making.

The variety of projects make every day delightfully different here at RedStart. We have designed and currently produce three lines of jewelry. We have attended unique festivals, taught jewelry-making at Stanford and in Italy, take on a variety of commissions, and have worked with Fossil to design jewelry lines for Emporio Armani and Burberry. These first years have been incredible and we look forward to the evolving nature of RedStart Design.
